About VouchRate
VouchRate is a trust network. Reviews are the first thing it understands, but the point is not the reviews — it is the chain behind them: a transaction, a customer, an experience, and evidence that ties the three together.
Why another review site
Because most of them answer the wrong question. A rating tells you what customers said. It does not tell you how much that rating can bear — whether those reviews came from real transactions, whether they arrived in a suspicious cluster, whether the business has ever been held to account for any of it.
So we publish two numbers. The rating, and the Trust Score — how well evidenced that rating is. A business can hold four and a half stars and a Trust Score in the thirties. Saying so plainly is the product.
What we gave up to do it
Every constraint below costs us revenue, and each is enforced in the software rather than in a policy document someone can quietly revise.
- No business can delete or hide a published review. There is no such permission on any plan, for any role.
- Cancelling does not remove reviews. Tools switch off; the record stays.
- Advertising never affects ranking, rating or Trust Score.
- Campaigns cannot branch on predicted sentiment — every eligible customer gets the same invitation.
Holding us to it
The transparency centre documents how ratings are calculated, what verification actually asserts, and what we remove and why. Every quarter we publish how often our own decisions were overturned on appeal. A platform that never overturns its decisions is either infallible or not reviewing them.
