Claiming a profile gives you the tools — invitations, replies, analytics, widgets. It does not give you control over what your customers have written, and it never will. Here is exactly what a subscription does and does not buy.

Customers can review a business before it joins, so a profile may already exist. Claim it rather than creating a second one — duplicates split a reputation in half.

By creating a profile you agree to invite every eligible customer rather than a selected group, to disclose any incentive you offer, and never to condition anything on the rating a customer gives.

Verifying ownership is a separate step

Claiming attaches the profile to your account. The verified badge comes only after you prove control of the domain or company — a DNS record, a meta tag, or a Companies House match. You can do that from your dashboard settings once the profile exists.
