Slipped badly on timeline and I had to keep asking
The finished product is fine. Getting there took eleven weeks against a quoted six, and most of the updates came because I asked rather than because they told me. I understand that a dependency they relied on changed underneath them, but that was explained to me in week nine, not week four when they knew.

You are right and I am sorry. We knew in week four and should have told you in week four. The weekly written update we now send to every client came directly out of this project.
